What a great way to complete our regular swim season at home! A warm thank you to Coach Frankie, Coach Julianna, Coach Esha and Coach Hazel for guiding our swimmers through a successful season. This impressive PCST team is small but mighty. And, a huge thank you to our volunteers who continue to make all of this happen for our super cute and super accomplished swimmers.

Last Week of Practice!

This upcoming week is the final week of regular practice, Monday through Thursday. Don’t forget the final Speeding Ticket Store will be open on Thursday. Check your family mailboxes for tickets! There’s also an overflowing Lost and Found bin in the team shed. Missing towels, goggles, water bottles - look in the Lost and Found before the end of the week.

League Championship Meet

The end of season League Championship Meet is this Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22. Volunteer shifts are OPEN. Please sign up where you can. Volunteer shift start (with the exception of the first shift) and end times posted are estimates, only. Actual shift start and end times will depend upon how fast the meet is moving and is guided by event numbers.

Friday, July 21, 9am @ Bear Creek. All distance events (400 free, 200 free and 8&U 100 free). Warm up begins at 9am.

Saturday, July 22, 6am @ Governors Ranch. All age groups, all remaining events. The League Meet lasts all day. This is a meet where you want to pack extra food and water.

League Spirit Theme: PCST is going Western for League. Bring out your western-inspired clothing and accessories. Please do refrain from including any armaments, toy or otherwise, with your gear. Have fun with this!

It’s Crunch Time, Get Your Photos to Andrei

From Andrei: We are almost to the end of the season and it's time to get those pictures in! If you haven't taken any yet, no worries, just give your device to your swimmer and let them get those pictures! Guaranteed to get some good ones. Couple different ways to send them in:

Awards Ceremony Tuesday July 25

The end of season Awards Ceremony will be held at Normandy Pool Tuesday, July 25, from 6:30-8:00pm. All PCST swimmers will be honored for a successful 2023 swim season. Awards, including most improved, high point and spirit, will be presented. The always anticipated season video will also debut. Treats for swimmers will be available, please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and picnic dinner. Come see if you can recognize your swim friends with dry hair and normal clothes!

Looking Ahead: Jim Fernald Memorial State Championship Meet

State Practices: Swimmers who have qualified for the State Meet will receive a separate communication regarding the practice schedule for the week of July 24-July 27.

State Meet: The State Meet for qualified swimmers will be held July 28-July 30 at Ken Caryl Pool. Friday, July 28 All Ages Distance Events: Ages 13-18 400 Freestyle; Ages 8 & under 100 Freestyle; Ages 9-18 200 Freestyle. Warmup 5:15pm. Start 6:00pm. Saturday, July 29 Lower Division: Ages 12 & Under all other events. Warmup 5:45am. Start 7:15am. Sunday, July 30 Upper Division: Ages 13 -18 all other events. Warmup 5:45am. Start 7:15am.

State Volunteers: Volunteer shifts for State are OPEN. PCST shifts are primarily set up and check in. Anyone can volunteer for these shifts, not just State families. A great way to complete your shifts if you haven’t already.
