PCST Weekly Update
Piranhas, you successfully made it through invitational week with Gator and KCI. Who knew the most beautiful weather would wait for KCI? It’s historically been the worst weather meet of the season. The Gator results have not yet been received from the league. They will be sent out as soon as Coach Frankie receives them. Thank you, again, to all our volunteers. Both meets were pulled off seamlessly with your help.
Mile Swim
Mile Swim Day is this Tuesday, June 27, during regular practice times. Swimmers will be attempting to swim a mile (64 lengths) or a half mile (32 lengths). Please note parents/care givers/siblings are needed to act as length counters for our swimmers. Tally sheets and writing utensils will be available at the pool. Set a chair at either end of your swimmers’ lane and count the lengths. Will anyone attempt 100 lengths? We’ll see!
Pirates Cove
The rescheduled annual team outing to Pirate’s Cove is this Tuesday, June 27, after Mile Swim Day and the weather is looking promising. The park opens at 10am. Team families usually set up on the southwest side of the park near the lazy river. Coaches will be there (likely after 10am as regular practice times are scheduled for Tuesday), but will not be supervising your swimmers. Please ensure your child has proper supervision for the day. Enjoy the water park with your swim team buddies!
