Last Week of Regular Practice! Swimmers will have a regular practice schedule Monday – Thursday this week. Thank you to all our Piranha families for your positivity and flexibility during this crazy season!

Prelims: Prelims will be at Governor’s Ranch on Friday, July 16. Standard warm up and meet start times. This is the first year the league is hosting a single-day prelim event. The previous prelim occurred over two days at two pools. Based on family feedback, the format was modified to a single day/single location. As such, we don’t have a good idea yet of an expected timeframe. Meet entries from all teams are due tomorrow and then the meet will be built. There should be a better idea of the expected timeframe on Tuesday.

League: League Finals will be at Governor’s Ranch on Saturday, July 17. Finals will be based on the results of the Friday prelims. Standard warm up and meet start times. Good luck Piranhas!

Prelims and Finals Spirit Theme: Each year, an award is handed out to the most spirited league team. PCST is the proud recipient of this award and we always want to do it again. This year, we’ll keep it simple and ask everyone to wear their PCST shirts and colors – red and black. To make it more fun, feel free to add an Incredibles flair to your attire. Think black eye masks and capes. If swimmers have other fun accessories they’d love wear, do it! Whatever you’re wearing, the most important thing is to cheer for your teammates!

Volunteers: We have several timer shifts open for both the Prelim and League Final meets. So many families have completed their volunteer requirements. Thank you! We do have plenty of families who have not completed their volunteer requirements who should be signing up for these shifts. Shifts are open – please review of sign up!

State: State qualifiers will practice the week of July 19. A modified practice schedule will be communicated. With regards to the meet, we’re still waiting for details. We’ll get info out as soon as it’s received.

End of Season Picnic: The end of season picnic will be Monday, July 26, from 6-7:30pm at the Normandy Pool Field. Bring your own picnic and chairs. Awards and treats will be handed out. An RSVP in Swimtopia would be appreciated.

Photos in Mailboxes: If you had photos completed by Imagetek, they are in your swimmers’ folders for pickup.

Lost and Found: Any goggles or water bottles disappear over the season? Make sure to check the lost and found located in the team shed this week.

Thank you Coaches! We say goodbye to Molly this week as she heads to her apprenticeship – such a treat to have her for a few weeks. Esha Wick has officially joined the coach crew – Welcome, Esha. Alyssa and Julianna are doing an amazing job – always so responsible, fun and on it. And a big Thank You to Coach Frankie for keeping it all together!
