PCST Weekly Update
Gator and KC Invite Recap: Congratulations to all swimmers on their respective meets this past week. The virtual format of the Gator at our pool was fun. Predictably, KCI gave us weather challenges that all rose to. We also had so many volunteers for both meets – a few stepped in to open slots at KCI who have already fulfilled their requirements and we so appreciate it. Go Piranhas!
Virtual Meet This Wednesday: Our virtual meet against Bear Creek and Governor’s Ranch is this upcoming Wednesday, June 30, at Normandy Pool. Warm up for all Piranhas is 6:30am. Meet start is 7:00am (volunteer check in 6:45am). Just like previous meets, we’ll set up any personal chairs, tents, canopies, etc, on the east side of the pool. In an attempt to save the grass that it there, the north side of the pool along the orange fencing will be spectators/standing room only. Kids will stage heating behind the orange fencing on the west side of the pool. Entries for the meet are listed on the Swimtopia app. If your swimmer(s) cannot make the meet, please let Frankie know ASAP.
Photos: Please save your swim team swimmer photos for Andrei G. and our end of year video. We’ll send instructions on how to get your photos to Andrei in the near future.
Speeding Ticket Store: Thank you to Jailyn V. and Olivia D. for a very successful speeding ticket store. The end of season store will happen just before League on July 14. Save those tickets and spend them all on July 14!
Looking Ahead: Our final dual meet will be at Woodbourne on July 10. Prelims will be July 16 and League Finals will be July 17 at Governor’s Ranch. The prelims and finals schedule will be announced as soon as its available. The State Meet will be July 23-25.
Fourth of July: Reminder - We have a bye this upcoming Saturday for the July 4th holiday. There will be no meet on July 3 and no practice on Friday, July 2, or Monday, July 5. Enjoy your long weekend!
