Piranha families, many of us received the below email from Normandy Pool this evening regarding a potential recent norovirus outbreak.  We've been in contact with Normandy Pool and they've assured us the chlorine levels are high and there has been no indication of any transmission at the pool.  The pool staff will be conducting extra disinfection of the pool grounds tomorrow before the pool opens for public use.  As such, we are cancelling Tuesday's practice to allow time for this extra precaution.  Sleep in, stay well and see you Wednesday

The Normandy Pool Board learned this afternoon that some individuals who recently visited the pool have experienced signs of a norovirus outbreak. 

Although there is no direct indication that the pool grounds were involved, out of an abundance of caution we have directed the pool staff to disinfect all common surfaces tomorrow morning prior to pool opening.
