Hello Piranhas...typing this as the snowflakes start to fly...

Thursday night, as of now, is still on for practice.  We'll just wait and see about the pool heater and the weather.  We'll update you if something changes.  4:30-5:30pm 10&U, 5:30-6:30pm 11&O. The first morning practice is happening as scheduled next Tuesday morning, May 28.  Check the website for appropriate times.  

Attached please find the invite to our Kickoff BBQ on Tuesday, May 28, 6-8pm.  Details about potluck items are included.  Our coaches (Frankie, Molly, Gary, Tricia, Alyssa and Julianna) will be on hand to say hello and start getting everyone signed up for our first meet on June 1. We hope to see everyone there!  

Thank you to everyone who has turned in their volunteer deposit checks.  We appreciate it. The last chance to turn those in is at the BBQ.  Swimmers will not be allowed to enter the meet if this registration requirement is not complete.  Bring those checks (and get them back in July when you complete all your shifts)!

Volunteer shifts have filled quickly, thank you.  There are still openings for Party Coordinators (BBQ and Pancake Day), Tent Set Up (takes ownership of team tent for the season and sets up for all meets), Heating Area Coordinators and BBQ helpers.  We've also opened up some donation shifts for the BBQ and for the Season.  If you sign up for one of these, make sure you release whatever you have that's over five shifts.  And, only one donation shift per family per season, please.  There's also always a need for stroke and turn judges.  Peggy is happy to train anyone interested.  A shadow shift counts as a volunteer shift.  If you still can't find something, don't worry.  We always have a task that needs to be completed, just let a board member know.
